Personally the video I watched creeped the crap out of me. Those visuals are pretty striking - you don’t see that tone in any other “driving” game that I can think of.

I like the way Adventure Zone does romance with its NPCs though. We got a really cool romance during the petals to the metal arc with the Raven and whats-her-name, plus we’ve got the two reclaimers at the Bureau of Balance who are quietly dating on the side.

See I’m a sucker for a good romantic plot line, and I would want my character to get swept up in some grand romance. But I’m always scared that it would feel weird like I’m hooking up with the DM or vise versa.

This makes me wanna binge watch Cowbow Bebop. Its got that ‘see ya later, space cowboy’ vibe to it.
