Well that’s exciting. I bought the first one on sale and played it for the first time recently, and while the graphics honestly look beautiful, I found the controls really difficult to work with. I hope that the remaster has an improved control scheme.

Pretty much every comic they post here, perhaps with the exception of Awkward Zombie, is complained about and criticized weekly, and I’m sure there are quite a few people who’d be happy to see every comic posted here replaced. The problem is, there are very few video game web comics as it is, so it’s unlikely Mike

“The cavalry’s there”? I’m fairly certain she says “here”, or with her accent, “’ere.”

I’m of course speaking subjectively, but the dialogue and acting in TellTale games always seemed more natural and engaging than the lines and dialogue in Quantic Dream games.

I was also surprised Kara wasn’t featured in the trailer, but I assume Kara and Connor will both be characters will their own arcs, like Heavy Rain. We’ll probably get a few other characters as well.

Ori and the Blind Forest. It does look similar in some ways, but very different in others.

It makes me sad that so few people seem to know what the original 80's film Time After Time is. I mean, it’s silly and very dated, but it’s charming and has a great concept, and I thought it had wider recognition.

With Awkward Zombie at least, the author just makes comics based on whatever she’s playing at the time, so generally for a few weeks the comics will be about the same game.

What I mean is, I feel like for several decades video game movies have been where superhero films were until a few years ago: Gimmicky, hit or miss and generally not very good. If video game movies start to do well though, studios might take them more seriously, and we might get films that faithfully adapt good games

I personally don’t care about Assassin’s Creed, but I feel like if we like video games, we should hope video game movies, even of games we don’t like, do well. You might hate Assassin’s Creed, but imagine it does well critically and in the box office, and some other studio sees the film’s success and decides they want

I think something must be wrong with the tracker. I live in Alaska, but according to the tracker the nearest comic shop is zero miles away in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

It’s very different, but it’s actually also really good. The art and writing is topnotch.

I look forward to see what you write on io9. I pretty much exclusively read web comics before a few months ago, but your coverage of mainstream comics made me realize what I was missing out on and convinced me to start reading more comics, which has been great.

I feel like part of the reason people get so angry when YouTubers try to make money is that people have these very rigid, outdated views about what a job can be and what a hobby can be. In their eyes, playing video games is a hobby, and so attempting to make money by playing video games is ridiculous and delusional.

They’re not necessarily wrong. Maybe there are just a lot of animes with tiny people living on steep hills.

Kate Beaton’s the best. She’s coming to my town next week for the first comic convention we’ve ever had, and I’m so excited about it.

Do you have to follow them? I just fast-traveled to Sanctuary via the map and they were there.

Even with your brain turned off, there can be bad and good action movies. For example, despite having a silly, cliche plot and shallow characters, I enjoyed Jurassic World. Transformers, on the other hand, I found awful.

It’s not just you, at least one person says something along the lines of your comment every week.

Yep, unfortunately this first beta at least is just for people who pre-ordered.
