Perhaps, but in the retail games stories articles, which have a similar premise, there are stories about terrible people, but there are also nice or touching ones as well.

Apparently, in Previous Dragon Age games, things could be interacted with from a distance by clicking on then. In the new game though, they removed that, so you have to be a short distance from it to interact with it. The author of the comic is still disoriented by this.
