I would have liked Lower Decks to have more action oriented animation, like Avatar, Korra or Voltron Legendary Defender. Those shows pulled off action, character drama and goofball comedy.

I can’t say Data was a real surprise -- the surprise would be if no one from TNG showed up.  However, Jeri Ryan’s 7 of 9 was a big surprise.  Frankly I’m more excited about her return than Data’s.

And while the existence of a multiverse was already mentioned in Doctor Strange, and obliquely referenced in Endgame, Beck’s story was absolutely a con.
