“I don’t understand anything about this situation. I’m so confident in my own ignorance that I will now make some meaningless and outright false proclamations about this situation in order to further demonstrate my ignorance. Please love me.”

People in the middle don’t minimize the severity of violent far-right extremism. That false equivalence is pretty “superior centrist” of you though, I’ll give you that.

You’ve made two falsities here.

Youtube has been criticized for radicalizing people with its algorithm by gradually recommending them more and more extremist content as they watch. That’s what throws a wrench in the seeking out and parental monitoring argument, quite a bit of youtube consumption doesn’t involve actively searching for content, but

This right-wing victimhood is fucking exhausting.

That’s some radical centrism you got there, buddy. People complaining about farting cows are definitely as bad as people saying Jews should be exterminated. I’m glad Pelosi gives her staffers time to post.

You heard it here first:

Real talk, when is Overwatch getting an actual story? I want to care about these characters but it's hard because literally none of them have done anything with respect to the actual plot.

,...another white dude.....

Now playing

Any chance to post the ending credits to spiderverse for relevance, it’s a must!

I would have liked Lower Decks to have more action oriented animation, like Avatar, Korra or Voltron Legendary Defender. Those shows pulled off action, character drama and goofball comedy.

I can’t say Data was a real surprise -- the surprise would be if no one from TNG showed up.  However, Jeri Ryan’s 7 of 9 was a big surprise.  Frankly I’m more excited about her return than Data’s.

Pay me, CBS!

I’m glad they have her wearing pants now. Once you get past the initial appeal the catsuit was more an albatross and way too distracting from the bang up acting she did during Voyager’s second half.

There’s never too much Star Trek news, seeing as we hadn’t had any Trek news at all for several years

I’m a little late to the show but the whole “Spiderman was the bad guy” thing will not work at all. Happy, Head of Security of Stark Industries, would be like “No, Beck worked at Stark Industries. Here’s his employment records. Here’s his ID Badge. Here’s video of him at work on BARF.  Here’s dozens of employs that

I’m gonna be super nerdy right now, and suppose the drones were firing focused kinetic bursts at him to simulate many small punches.

As far as I’m aware, Into the Spiderverse isn’t officially part of the MCU canon. And while the existence of a multiverse was already mentioned in Doctor Strange, and obliquely referenced in Endgame, Beck’s story was absolutely a con. He had a member of his team who’s whole job was to write the plot for his backstory.
