Doom Patrol continues to look fantastic & surprisingly funny. Crazy Jane’s costume with the short pants is kind of odd, but Diane Guerrero of course pulls it off.

Based on the lead image, I thought Stan’s name was seen on a gravestone. Glad that’s not the case because that would have been pretty macabre!

I still think it’s weird that Doom Patrol premieres this Friday, and the best look we’ve gotten at the show is a thirty-second preview (which on io9 was buried in Morning Spoilers). I wouldn’t be surprised if even some existing DC Universe subscribers don’t realize it’s coming out soon.

Now that Marvel has rediscovered that everybody loves goofy irreverent super heroes, can we please get a NextWave TV series!?
