Doom Patrol continues to look fantastic & surprisingly funny. Crazy Jane’s costume with the short pants is kind of odd, but Diane Guerrero of course pulls it off.

Based on the lead image, I thought Stan’s name was seen on a gravestone. Glad that’s not the case because that would have been pretty macabre!
I still think it’s weird that Doom Patrol premieres this Friday, and the best look we’ve gotten at the show is a thirty-second preview (which on io9 was buried in Morning Spoilers). I wouldn’t be surprised if even some existing DC Universe subscribers don’t realize it’s coming out soon.
Now that Marvel has rediscovered that everybody loves goofy irreverent super heroes, can we please get a NextWave TV series!?
Is this the actual art for each series, because Dazzler/Tigra looks like some cheap Flash animated parody of the 2011 ThunderCats series.
Cool, but what the fuck ever happened to the Squirrel Girl & New Warriors live action show that I was promised?
Unexpected but pretty cool! I really, really hope The Offenders takes some inspiration from Nextwave: Agents of HATE with MODOK/AIM as the main, Patton Oswalt-written (and voiced? Please?) villain.
BTW, did we ever get a confirmation of New Warriors not going to series?
What’s that, now?
I haven’t owned a Nintendo console in decades, or played a JRPG since Final Fantasy 8, or watched any anime since Naruto. Your problem isn’t that you don’t play games, its that you don’t listen to enough podcasts about games. Thats it really.
Lel. Jokes aside, I get where you are coming from even though I randomly got…
They look.... Like good..... strong hands..... don’t they...?
Double XP brings them Rock-Biter feels.
One of the few times I liked the adaptation better than the book, which I found painfully tedious.
The movie based on the play based on the book!
Where does their comment say that? Looks like evangelicals are as bad at interpreting things in general as they are at interpreting the bible. That would explain a lot.
Unitarian Universalists aren’t Christians. It’s a religion more suited for atheists or agnostics, as they don’t express belief in a specific deity.
Maybe it’s just around Boston, but I see Episcopal and Unitarian churches with the rainbow flag. So there are definitely super liberal/welcoming congregations out there
Unitarian...many Episcopal churches (Protestant sects it depends on the individual church itself)...um, Reformed Judaism?...annnnnnd...Flying Spaghetti Monster?
Who doesn’t want to spread the idea that trans people deserve respect which is the heart at what advocates of Latinx partly hope to accomplish?
