I’m retiring from being snarky about cultural criticism. I hate what the AVClub has become, but I understand that everyone needs a job to survive. Good luck with your lives. I can’t stand to read this any longer. The internet is over. Good riddance.

I literally couldn’t disagree with you more, and I wish you well on your continued career in cultural criticism.
Critics are parasites.
Not pointless at all. Rather, the actual point, as your went on to explain with the rest of your post.
Hi Ethan. You completely misunderstand narrative structure. Carry on.
I’ve been pretty harsh on Ignatiy for his past reviews. This one was ok. Sorry for being a jerk.
Jesus. Who would want to be a film critic?
Here’s the thing that most bothers me about Ignatiy:
She’s a robot. The rest of the people aren’t robots. She’s not a person. She can look however the person who made her wants her to look.
I hope this one sticks.
I was about to say the same thing. This looks awful. And I’ve kind of enjoyed the movies after Jurassic Park. I think they’ve just hit the wall on this story.
1. There Will Be Blood
2. Boogie Nights
3. The Master
4. Magnolia
5. Punch Drunk Love
6. Inherent Vice
7. Hard Eight
I love that Ignatiy is getting his ass handed to him on his own site.
We’ve all been there. Don’t be too hard on yourself. It’s okay.
AlienJesus, do you want to go see Broadway 4D with me?
Way not to start a conversation. “This video is trying to appeal to white people who are prejudice. How dare they!” Actually, this is the perfect weapon for dismantling racism. If you can’t see that, then you’re part of the problem.
If we’re calling spades spades over here, it’s worth noting that Amber Heard has been arrested for domestic violence as well.
Mel Gibson did lots of bad things. His response to the Weinstein situation is not one of them.
It’s saying, “click me.”
It’s almost like people like complaining about things rather than appreciating them for what they are.
