For some reason i really love this thing. I also think it’ll be quite a bargain if they’re going to be competing with the M-performance and AMG+twosmallernumbers cars. This thing should be making close to 100 more horsepower than those models while also probably being way way cheaper to own in the long run.

Id say

Is this a possible future classic? I mean, it’s not the holy trinity of NA V8+RWD+Manual, but close. The GS-F seems to have that niche appeal and the prices reflect that (Also considering it’s a Lexus) but I think this has potential.

I’m getting Delta Integrale vibes and I dig it

Just on exterior looks alone I really, really like this. Such a clean design that looks cohesive and overall incredibly well balanced. Very modern and somewhat simple and classic. No annoying fake vents or weird bumper creases like to many current vehicles have. Just enough creases/pieces to break up the design.

Just purchased a car this weekend with the wheel and tire plan. Actually it was a flat rate plan that covered cosmetic damage on the whole vehicle (inside and out), worked out about a couple dollars a month so did it. And I also bought the bumper to bumper (flat rate)as it was the same idea.

Battery replacement in a Prius really isn’t a big deal. They’re interchangable with only a few components needing to be swapped over, 2004-2018. You can mix and match between Prius and Prius V, and the cells can be mixed between Prius C also.

No one should be surprised by this.

I bought a 2007 Prius, had to replace the battery 6 months later to the tune of $3500, and 6 months after that I got rear-ended by a drunk driver and totaled. His insurance gave me the value of the vehicle but nothing extra for the new battery. Kind of soured me on hybrids.

I sold my first Prius, an ‘06 at 300k miles in 2020 having replaced the HV battery at about 160k miles. I only sold it as the water pump failed at the same time the oil level dropped, which overheated and the head started to leak. The windshield was cracked, the clearcoat was breaking apart, and it was quickly sold

Yes, Singers are overpriced. Yes, Singers are overdesigned. Yes, I will never own one and it’s even unlikely I will see one IRL. I don’t care. They are awesome.

That’s why I got rid of my GTI right before the warranty expired

You cannot hide weight in corners. I’m not saying it will be shitty to drive, but you will be able to feel it.

Being an EV crossover this will be very heavy. It’s also tall.

$55k is not a ton less than the $59k an M2 competition costs either. That car makes more power than the Supra, is more practical and can be had with a stick.

Bold!  But not wrong. The back end really bugs me.  It’s all huge and square for reasons.  Seems like GM prioritized the fit of golf bags in the trunk over aesthetics.

Square grill will probably go at some point before production.

Seeing the Z and the Supra side by side really makes it obvious that the Supra is a bit of an overwrought mess. The Z is refreshingly simple and straightforward. I don’t care if it is a heavily reworked 370z. I like it.

Hyundai’s slanted Honda logo is fine, but KIA needs to update their logo for sure. Not because of past history, but because the KIA logo sucks.
