I do like it more than the 8, but there are some details that really bug me. I think the mesh, lower front area is way too big, for one. The proportions on the Mk7 were so much better. I actually really like the wheels, and 265hp is nice. However, with the manual trans. going away, I may just keep my Mk7.5 manual

Why couldn’t this have been the new face of the GTI?!? Definitely more in line with the Mk7 and it looks both cute and menacing. The rear looks nice too.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a Veloster N before. Sad.

I don’t think this is a fad that centers around a certain look, like the Altezzas did. I think it’s designers having more creative options now with newer technology. I think we’re going to see a lot of new, cool designs in the coming years. Hopefully regulations don’t stifle this bright new world.

Were these photos taken on the set of a new Bladerunner movie?

Autoblog says all trims have a CVT. But I’ve also read that the Si will once again be manual-only.

I like your garage setup!

It looks so much better than the previous gen. Glad they returned to clean and uncluttered design. The interior looks very nice too; love that mesh vent detail. Power seems on par I guess for its class. Just hope the Si gets a bigger boost (pun!) from the previous model’s figures.

If I were a Japanese billionaire, I would have commissioned Rolls Royce to make me one in the bosozoku style. That’d be weird!

Yeah but the seating position allows you to sit up high and see all the other ugly vehicles on the road.

I like the fat quad exhaust tips and an actual color! Price seems high, so I had to check what an ’08 TL type-s cost back in the day, and it was nearly 40K. So, jumping ahead 13 years and maybe that’s reasonable?

I want to know where you rank it in the pantheon of all M3s/4s.

I do appreciate the lack of chrome! And the lines look a little cleaner than previous gens. Even the EV-nose is OK to my eyes. I don’t love it, but I do like it more than the current gen, where I never could get over all the fake vents. Oh, but the wheels are not attractive to me. Hopefully they have some other

Yup. I wanted to like it because I’ve driven Hondas for a long time. But I couldn’t, so I got a GTI.

Isn’t Lexus going full electric in the very near future? If so, pretty cool of them to go out with a V8 bang instead of a turbo-6 whimper. I think it looks awesome. Bet it’ll be a great car.

I absolutely love the look of this! Hyundai did a great job. I’d rank this up there with Honda’s e.

Can confirm. We had 2 Priuses in the past and both were running strong up to 150,000 and 180,000 miles. Those were the most reliable cars I’ve ever had, and my other cars were Honda Accords, so that’s saying something.

Same here! Gonna love it for five years then sell it on its last year of warranty.
