Unfortunately, they already did that. They created the A3 sedan because Americans don’t buy luxury hatchbacks, and the old A3 hatch proved it (when they still offered it here).
But as a GTI owner, I am 100% with you. Sell it in the US, you cowards.

no its no different than buying the skeleton doors for the wrangler. aftermarket accessories dont have to worry about crash standards.
That hole in the door is one of the best features on the Bronco.
This is actually the CEO of Ford using a burner account /s
It’s based on a truck platform with solid axles front and rear, available 7-speed manual with “Crawler” gear and a rear “dig” feature which locks the rear wheels for low speed high angle steering off-road.
This is the meanness I was looking for.
My FiL is on his 4th of these glorious little cars. He has also had an Olds Trofeo.
Fer sure! Rare enough that it will be a great conversation-starter anyplace you go where there are gearheads. Cheap enough to be disposable. Surprisingly decent condition, considering its age. Not a car you see every day; or even once a month/year.
The SAAB 9000 Areo seats by Recaro are, by far, the best I’ve sat in, and I have heard them brought up many times when discussing good seats. I mean, look at those beauties.
There she is, in all her manual, turbocharged, wagon-y glory. Anybody else getting on the obsessive car washing train?
Lets spot her the 2500 to get the MS3. David Tracy nailed it this time even though that car has interior styling straight out of a metro bus.
I feel like used Civic SI is the right answer here for durability/reliability. The MS3 rules, but isn’t exactly the bastion of affordable durability lol.
I’d take it, but I still would pay the thing off the day the warranty runs out. Payments or repairs, never both on the same car for me. If I can’t pay it off in within the factory warranty terms, I can’t afford that car.
This thing is $29,000 as tested. You can get a GTI for that price that would run circles around it.
WOO!
Never forget the concept that came first. The Pontiac Rageous concept was what we deserved.
If the grill was toned down just a little bit, I'd be completely smitten. It's just too damn big
They never do.
what are you talking about. All MK7s have golfball shifter on MT.
Looks like Frankenstein's monster to me.
