We live in an area where these things are incredibly popular and there’s always a handful for sale for reasonable prices, with low kilometers and a variety of options. Usually they’re previously owned by retirees, new families, or prudent government workers - so they’re also in usually pretty decent condition.  In

The RSX-S is still the best all-around car I’ve ever owned. Super fun to drive, dead reliable, enough cargo room to swallow up a bike without taking any of the wheels off, and great gas mileage. They will not be under $8500 for very long - I would doubt many of the decent ones still are.

<$8500 USD.

Reverse: Money. So far this year, I’ve spent $20k on home repairs and $5k on medical bills. I don’t have the money to do new car shopping. Or used car shopping.

How about you?

Reverse: the cost of new EV’s. It seems like all the halfway decent ones cost $45K minimum.

I think if rearview video is good enough for WEC, it should be ok for cars too

Not to mention a full 8-foot bed, and no rear jump seats so, “sorry kids, you can’t come Home Depot with me.  Read a book.

When I lived in salty, snowy northern New England, this truck would’ve been snapped up for its solid cab corners alone. This was a good price for this rig even in Before Times.

I had a ‘94 F-150 equipped just like this one (I6, 5sp, single-cab) save for the 4WD. Only thing needed to keep it on the road was gas and an oil change every so often. When I sold it at 275k miles it was still running/driving like it did when it pulled out of the dealer parking lot.

One of the truckiest trucks to ever truck!

MORE shocking that Arizona actually bothered to do anything about it.

Tom, you have vastly more experience with buying cars than I do. I’ve bought less than twenty cars in my life, and only one at a Nissan dealer. This event was two weeks ago, and it was remarkable enough for me to want to remark on it. I’ve been browsing ads for a later model Grand Cherokee for a few weeks. Don’t

A spokesperson for Macy did respond that we’d all be sorry we didn’t get the TruCoat.

Don’t mistake this as a defense of him, but I doubt he is more than tangentially aware that these dealerships even exists, much less sets or even guides their policies. He and Berkshire Hathaway push holdings around so much as a portfolio shifting exercise that I doubt you can even get from the highest person in the

Guess those 96 month loans on Sentra’s and Altima’s weren’t cutting it.

Wait...you are telling me this happened at a Nissan dealer? No way!🤣

Poor wording, I believe the crux of it is the dealer wouldn't sell the car without the add ons, making the low price false advertising.

It’s pretty simple; you can’t advertise something for sale at a price that you don’t intend to actually sell at that price or under terms not mentioned in the ad. A grocery store can’t advertise $1/gallon milk, but refuse to sell it to you at that price unless you also buy $10 worth of cottage cheese after you walk
