You do understand there’s a difference between protesting best health practices for the sake of doing so in a purely petulant, selfish fashion; and being well past pissed off and standing up for actual civil rights and social justice, right?

There’s a pandemic; driving on an empty highway is not unusual.

Read the fucking article.

Timing.  The roads weren’t supposed to be closed until later.  When the protest moved to the freeway, they scrambled to try and get it closed ASAP.

They did.

This really isn’t a car or hot-rod or performance vehicle or odd vehicle or cute vehicle or . . . anything vehicle story except that a guy, driving a boring semi, drove along a freeway, trying to get through a protest which turned ugly, he ran over someone(s) and got pulled from his truck. There’s no car-value in this

You could do it with Cadillacs too! Results tended to vary though:

An ‘84 was my father’s final car. My brother has it in storage now. Compared to modern cars (I have a ‘14 FR-S) everything feels a bit heavy, and you have to pay much more attention. No ABS, no traction control, but I disagree with the owner of the listed one that the shift is ‘sloppy’. The clutch throw is a bit long,

I’d guess when you see it’s not moving out of the lane with a fucking overturned truck blocking it?

All the G35/G37's around here are slammed and stanced and piped and driven by backwards flat-brimmed wearing bro douches

Fiat Chrysler, an automaker that lost 1.8 billion last quarter, is having 24,000 of its workers pay back an average of $500 in unemployment benefits they received from the company after the U.S. government raised its unemployment allowance.

Oops!

Money isn’t free. Christ. Try to act like a fucking adult.

What grievance would the UAW have? How dare you follow the contract we signed?

Is the grille any bigger? It looks like it has sharper edges, and a raked profile, but otherwise it looks to be the same size. Compare the 2020 model (top) to the 2021 model (bottom):

Now playing

In the end all they are is rust in the wind.

I have bought a rental car. Other than the tires being flatspotted in the back it gave my daughter not a moment of trouble. The only brand I wouldn’t buy as a rental would be a Nissan but I wouldn’t buy one of those under any circumstances.

Have you or Tom ever bought a rental car?

Seriously - I have seen seriously rich people drop FAR larger sums on FAR sillier things than this. I’d rather have this than some gaudy watch that doesn’t keep time as well as a $10 Timex. Jealousy is an ugly emotion.

I’ve bought a rental. It’s been fine. I doubt the next person who buys it, cash, will give two shits about its history.
