Also, wouldn’t be surprised if it was aluminum cladding. Large flat areas like that have little structure without the usual body lines and are prone to oil canning, etc. I’ll but that there is some sort of composite structure with aluminum panels glued over the top to create the aesthetic.

I’ll bet they make it out of aluminum, but it will have a brushed finish that is cleared over. It will look just like this, have similar non-rusting characteristics, but less weight. And aluminum panels are actually a thing in use in the industry right now.

When it gets really cold not only does the mileage take a hit but charging also takes much longer. I’m guessing this is going to be a huge production with a lot of support. But their glamour shots will be these two people having a coffee by their car and nothing but wilderness behind them.
