Not necessarily; successful streamers who aren’t interested in doing sexy stuff may not want to have their brands associated with it for a variety of reasons other than fear that it will take money away from them. Some might just not want there to be an expectation that they’ll wear bikinis or whatever on their

Women in bikinis in hot tubs at a public pool don’t generally solicit ‘donations’ from gawkers passing by.

If Twitch wants to be softcore Onlyfans, that’s great...as long as they’re up front about it.

Cool, but for anyone seriously interest in Morrowind, Oblivion, and to a lesser extent Skyrim on PC, you should pick them up on Steam for cheap so you can at least mod in community patches.

Much like... a whole lot of internet discourse, actually... I feel like there’s a lot of PC gamers who see themselves as the ‘underdogs’, up against a monolithic console gaming experience that marginalized, ignored, and mocked them for years, and that’s where this sort of attitude comes from. And to be fair, that

To be fair, ‘being myopic about your chosen approach to the hobby’ is pretty deeply ingrained in gaming culture; what else do you expect us to do, learn and/or grow, like emotionally healthy, well-adjusted human beings?!

Reaffirms my decision to go with a PS5 and Switch for consoles and then a PC. There is so little reason for an Xbox to exist. Just build a modest gaming PC and you have basically an Xbox but all the utility and flexibility of the PC as well.

Did you get kicked in the head when you were a child? Eat a lot of lead paint chips, perhaps?

Have you considered, oh I don’t know, hooking your PC into your TV? I’ve been doing this for years.

yeah, digital foundry explains it super well. some small thin objects like hair, power lines, and text actually look even better. it’s really amazing. i really don’t like nvidia but until amd comes up with something roughly comparable i can’t see going anywhere else when i upgrade.

The thing that feels magical is that the upscaling with DLSS from, say, 1080p to 4k is often indistinguishable from actual 4k rendering to the untrained eye.

SOON

Honestly, I don’t care where other people buy their games, but it gets tiresome when the pro-EGS fans attack me for waiting on games showing up on other launchers. They seem more invested in minimizing every criticism than anything else.

I try not to be a “NOT ON EPIC” type, but I do find it hard to convince myself to buy things there particularly when timed exclusivity of non-Epic owned properties is involed. Bought one thing outside of the many (pretty great) free games they’ve given. Journey to the Savage Planet, which at the time was exclusive,

I can’t see EGS being very happy about IOI letting people redeem over 100gb of downloads based on a background validation. That’s got to have a hefty server cost and they haven’t had the opportunity to sell it yet.

I highly doubt it’s a WB issue. They’re perfectly fine with Hitman 3 owners getting free Hitman 2 content on consoles if they already own Hitman 2. This is much more likely to be an Epic issue. Hitman 2 isn’t on EGS and I don’t think they want players getting it for free just because they own it on Steam. Epic tries

Man this sucks. Already own Hitman 1 and 2 plus all the dlc on Steam, PS4 and Xbox...

These ridiculous takes I see on this site are absolutely how Trump rose to power.
