Let me guess......you really, really, REALLY love your PS4. Thanks for the walls of text, including anecdotal stats to bolster your ego, so you deep inside you can feel you made a purchase of a lifetime. I would hate to be your neighbor when you come over to tell me how I spent too much on my roof tile and gutters.

I meant backwards compatibility, or lack thereof on the PS4/Xbox1 is a drawback. Both the Xbox 1 and the PS4 have completely different architectures from their previous models, so old games simply won't work on the new hardware. I am sure the PS4 can emulate PS2 games, but emulation takes crazy amounts of power to

Backward compatibility is one of the big drawback with some consoles over the years. I think the PS4 will hopefully let you play PS1 (I have the original Crash Bandicoot on PS3) and PS2 games, but it is nowhere near powerful enough to emulate PS3 games. I think that's why Sony invested in it's Game Streaming service.

I have kids, so Mario Cart 8 is a big one for me! Also, I have a Wii, and the Wii controllers are supposed to be backward compatible......so unlike a PS4 where you need all new controllers (except Move, I have two of those) it just makes more sense for me to get a WiiU sooner than a PS4. If there were a must have game

I think the GZ will be 30fps on the PS3, but I don't know if I will get that day 1. I've heard rumors of a future PC release and one of these day's I'll eventually get a PS4. There really is no urgency to do so now. Heck, I'm considering getting a WiiU, after seeing E3 ;))

What bothers me, is Sony limited the system to 1080p and maybe, sometimes, 60fps. That is not next gen to me. HDMI is incapable of rendering 4k @ 60fps anyway, but I was really hoping for more, considering this gen just started. I could care less about Xbox, so that's why I didn't bring it into the conversation.

Dude, that's your opinion. Games are not movies. Jesus Christ, I doubt you have ever played games at 60fps. I just put in a few hours playing GTA Vice City on PC and it's looks sooooooooo much better than it did on my PS2, and mainly when I took off the frame limiter.

I'm most excited for The Forest!! It will be for sale on Steam Friday the 30th (early access).

This is the first Metro game, Metro 2033. I think it looks a lot better that Last Light on consoles. The thing is it was never released on the PlayStation, so if you like Last Light, you can now (in the summer rather) purchase 2033 and have a version similar or better than the PC version. I recorded this a long time

Here is a quote from the Steam In-Home Streaming page.

I do! I have purchased many, many movies in 1080p on Vudu. Check it out. Lot's of old, old remastered movies that I can't find on physical discs.

This game looks pretty good, and I recorded this at least a year ago. Crysis 3. I'm sorry this is a duplicate post, I accidentally replied to the wrong person. SS on PS4 looks great, but it's not the only good looking game around.

I recorded this playing Crysis 3 quite awhile back. It really looks...........amazing. Down to the dirt and grass on the ground.

I know it's 'proof of concept', but it's.....................I don't believe this. It's just not convincing to me personally. If you feel you're convinced, that's fine. Not trying to convince anyone of anything, just stating my opinion with a little real time gameplay to bolster my point ;))

Dude, the thing is......there is nothing special in this demo. Nothing. I have a hard time believing this demo is on the up and up. I play games with lot's of physics that don't show any slowdowns, and why the 30fps cap on the PC demo. Hey if it works, hooray!!! But I have my doubts. Here is a vid I made on PC and

"So will I be able to play a Rift game on a Morpheus...?" That is a most ridiculous statement dude. How about, will I be able to play Steam games on Morpheus...? NO. Sony will only let Morpheus compatible with a PS4. It's proprietary. You go right the fuck ahead with the no buy mentality on the Rift. It's your loss.

Dude, Sony said right off the bat that they had expanded plans for the Morpheus beyond games. A company like Sony that makes TV's, stereos, blu-ray players, etc......actually has more to gain than Facebook to expand the uses for their VR headset.

You seem to be in quite a few of these discussions as well drew........

Crisis 3 (CryEngine 3) on PC has global illumination already, but only when the highest settings are enabled.

Did you miss the part where he said the controller was made with a 3d printer? It's a frigging prototype.
