I wish there could be a resolution in relation to who owns the IP. There is little doubt there would be a LOT of people willing to purchase, or re-purchase NOLF2. I lost the original disc (still have jewel case and artwork) but the only thing I can find to replace it is a demo.

Up in Cairns would be great. Sharks, crocks, deadly snakes and everything in between!

If the fourth is anything like the third on PC, it's a day one purchase for me. Awesome game.

From the article you linked to:

Lighten up dude. This was a light satirical/whimsical jab at all three types of fanatical gamers.

It looks to me like it's supposed to have a 'Victorian' era look. I mean it fits with the rest of the game design as far as I'm concerned, and I like it. Seeing as it's a PC game, there will either be native HUD removal/scaling in the settings menu, or someone will come up with a mod, so this should be a non issue.

I own Rage, and had little problems with it in the long run, but lot's of people did. Especially if they had an AMD cards. The textures in Rage are not good, and the fact it was such a huge download and it didn't even include decent textures was weird. If you spin around to shoot behind you it blurs and has massive

Well, I think Rage was a disappointment to PC gamers, first and foremost, because they expected more from the father of FPS's. A lame port from console to PC was really lame.

No worries. Take it easy and have a great weekend.

I'm assuming that's your PSN username. I booted my PS3 up and as usual, there is a system update that is taking....awhile.

There is a Mac version of Steam and it's free as I'm sure you know. If you want...friend me. My Steam id is homernoy. Same as my PSN username.

Max Payne 3 on Steam was 39GB. Look it up.

Because you use a Mac as opposed to a PC. It's ironic that the Mac is a closed system very Xbox1 esque (initially at least) machine. Then in the console context, you choose the more open, cheaper more powerful choice. The PC is by far the more powerful, cheaper and open platform on the computer market.

Yes, but it's kind of ironic that you like the openness of the PS4 and think the Xbox1 has policies that are harmful to gamers. Apple is the ultimate 'my way or the highway' company. Very closed.

Since the demise of the PowerPC at Apple, and their jump to PC's x86 Intel world, just run bootcamp. Same hardware, same hardware, same hardware. Except things like GPU's are way behind and $100 more for the Mac versions, no SLI !!!.... but I digress.

There are pre-paid Steam cards, just like iTunes cards. Hell, you can even buy them at Wallmart (God forbid I ever go in there).

Well think of it this way. You probably got two or three free AAA games and saved $$ you would have paid for the equivalent Nvidia card. All for a few less FPS

This works well. I just bought a seven series card and Nvidia Experience has a one click option to optimize every game you own. My card is beefy, but it actuall turned down a couple setting a notch in Crysis 3 and the only difference I noticed was a higher framerate. Of course you can optimize games individually if

I think you've had one too many beers. Have a glass of water and get some rest.

Not trying to toot the Steam horn too loudly, but it seems Valve really does everything it can to help and promote independent developers wanting to make great games with limited resources. Being a private company that answers to no stockholders or board of directors, makes them very appealing to me.
