EA is a very consumer unfriendly company and they will suck your blood to please it's stockholders. As a consumer, they DON'T GIVE A SHIT how they treat you. Origin alone is a clear sign they ignore what their customers want. They deliberately force Origin down your throat, and as a consumer I am not buying anymore…

I fucking can't stand Origin, and EA is getting on the top of my 'don't buy from them' list. I bought Crysis 3 and BF3 from them on PC, but I think I'm done. Thank goodness I didn't buy SimCity as I was nervous after the kind of BS Diablo III had.

Go buy a copy of Windows, and you should be fine..........just don't forget your Nvidia card is not a desktop card, it's a laptop part. So nowhere near a 'real' GTX 680, but you should be alright.

While I agree, the stronger, higher res rendering hardware is why most people buy new/next gen consoles. Of course lack of support of the existing product is also a strong reason people eventually upgrade.

This is true, but what I think PB is saying is.........in Far Cry 2 you could clear out an outpost and turn around and the people you killed two minutes ago have re-spawned. That was what all the major 'bitching' was about.
