It matters because a lot of that money fans GAVE away will NOT be used for development. Both the PS3 and the Xbox make money on games, right? That's why they take a loss on hardware. I would be pissed too, if I knew some of my money was used to pay Sony/MS for the right to put a game on their system.

No worries ;)

I would like to know how you define 'next gen' graphics. Just so I can write it down and know when it happens, since you seem to know............................

Yes. Are you watching the videos in standard def? Here is a PC exclusive, but I am sure you will say it looks 'current gen'.

Well.....these video game thieves should get cracking on learning code. It won't be too terribly long before the only way to obtain a video game is digitally.

I guess I should have been more clear. In any case, here is an explanation of x86-64 etc....no matter how you slice it, it's an x86 architecture.

I'm sure the lapdesk is fantastic, but since I didn't know they existed, my daughters old (children's) surfboard came into use. Works great!!

Maybe GTAV has been delayed that close to the next-gen hardware intentionally. Both new consoles are rumored to have x86 processors and AMD GPUs. Rockstar could have conceivably delayed the launch intending to delay it one more time.......as a launch title for the new consoles.

No I wasn't. But I feel that if the PS4 or 720 have the same limitations as the PC and none of the advantages (mods, high framerates, cheap digital sales and M/KB +controller support) then it takes away many of the reasons to purchase a new console.

Uh, no I didn't notice that. Do you really believe that PC gamers don't own or buy consoles? I don't know any of my PC gaming friends that don't have consoles, but I know plenty of console gamers that don't own a gaming PC. Hell, I know console players that have never played a PC title in their lives.

I somehow posted this in the wrong thread. Sorry.

Sorry you have that opinion of Crysis. I LOVE it and still play it. I have Killzone 3, and it looks ok, but nothing like Crysis......To each his own I guess.

Chill Rex. I don't personally know any PC gamer that doesn't have a console. Can't say the same for console gamer's though. I have PC/PS3/Wii and will buy a PS4 most likely. If you were at my house and used my PC hooked up to the TV you might understand where some PC gamer's are coming from, even though these

Me too. I think I am about ten feet away from my TV and PC, and never have any problems with connectivity. On rare occasions my kids get the PC in the other room, laptop, a Kindle Fire and a couple DS's pulling my wifi signal and it interferes with my mouse a bit. I can't believe Netflix lets you watch on so many

To tell you the truth, I haven't tried the beta and don't need to at this point since I have a decent enough system (I guess). I suppose from what you have experienced it sounds kind of useless to end users.

I don't agree. People with 'higher end' cards pretty much max everything out if they're running @1080p or lower. I would think this would be fantastic for lower end cards. Instead of constantly trying to find that balance between performance and visual fidelity, you just use this. Also, this takes all of the 'I can't
