In the last three administrations, the average Executive Orders signed have been fourteen in 100 days. Donald Trump has signed twelve, already. Day Four.

My county (Montgomery County in MD) is staying a sanctuary city no matter what and I’m so damn proud of the people representing me right now. I will say it’s a wealthier county so it won’t be hurt as much as some others from the lack of federal funding.

Did you see the interview with Masha Gessen on Samantha Bee’s show? Gessen was imputing some fairly arcane motivations to Trump, and Samantha Bee basically wondered whether he was intelligent enough to devise such advance plans.

This is ludicrous.. It’s also financial incentive to arrest more people during a protest, and/or to use more expensive and unnecessary means in response. In addition to, you know, violating constitutional rights and effectively threatening people against protesting.

Anyone who says this isn’t straight up fascism, is a straight up fascist themselves. Our right to peacefully assemble, which means anything short of actually smashing shit up, is guaranteed by our 1st amendment constitutional rights. Don’t think for a second that this law will not be used by a federal agency at some

You lost me here.

“Women have very little idea of how much men hate them”

Aziz’s bit about G.W. Bush in his opening monologue cracked me up. “What the hell has happened? I’m sitting here wistfully watching old George W. Bush speeches? Just sitting there- ‘What a leader he was!’ 16 years ago I was certain this dude was a dildo, now I’m sitting there like ‘He guided us with his eloquence!’”

I’ve tried explaining this to some people. When your group of people is in a similar plight as mine, but you choose to pointedly not mention my group I no longer feel like we’re working towards the same goal.

Now playing

Also worth noting: the founder of Bikers For Trump appeared on Fox News and claimed that anarchist protesters “admitted” to being funded by George Soros.

I was over on a sister site saying it

Solid interview.

Don’t have friends you constantly need to apologize for.

I agree. In a way, Tom reminds me of Ben Carson when talking about anything else except football. (I say that as a Patriots fan). In their narrow specialty (neurosurgery, football) they are undisputed experts, and usually met with fawning praise, even from adversaries or critics. But outside of that bubble, they are

*sigh*

Just let the idiot savant heave his precious ball and eat his all-crystal diet and sleep in his cryo-pajamas at the bottom of a silent, subterranean lake in peace.

Judging by the attendance at the inauguration, I’d say we definitely don’t care what celebrities think about politicians.

I understand where he’s coming from. Everyone has that old friend, who has since become a disgrace and embarrassment. I admire his loyalty for publicly sticking with him.

I thought I told you to stick to sports?
