Definitely insane. I mean, you can sometimes buy Lilly Pulitzer fabric and you could have a shift dress made for less.

Ohhhhhh .. should I look? Should I not???? DO I want to be possibly disappointed?? I’M SO EXCITED!!!
So true - I forgot for a moment! :)
WHAT?? YOU GOT YOUR PACKAGE??? WHERE IS MINE???
I would venture a guess that whatever dress might be selling for that much is PROBABLY a plus size dress. The regular Lilly line does not do plus size. It is the only scenario that makes sense.
Jesus. I’ve been buying Lilly Pulitzer clothes for years. Not because I was trying to pass as rich and privleged but because I like gaudy bright colors and simple lines. No way anyone can be buying them for that reason, huh?
I was a sophomore in high school and on the track team. As I was trying out the starting blocks before a race (which means you go from a crouching position to up on your toes with your ass in the air), I could hear some fathers from the other school commenting on my “great ass.” So very, very gross.
The question is would she have put down her Lilly haul to pick up her dropped baby?
I saw the writing on the wall when I caught sight of a family of four who didn’t look like Lilly fans near the front door. As I suspected, when I got in two of them were clearing racks in the accessories department, another was in the clothes and the final one was tooling around with two carts filled with home goods.…
Actually, a majority of the plus size items were sold out within 15 minutes of the collection going live. I was on at 3am and couldn’t get anything really. I was pissed. I got even pissier when the site crashed twice during checkout and lost all my items both times.
The best fiance in the world (mine) joined me at Target at 7:45 am and grabbed a set of those mugs for me.
I believe that in that situation, crying would have been the correct course of action.
In the past year or two I have actually looked for such pieces again but have been unable to find any. Quite a disappointment.
Oh wow ... I am having a total flashback of living in the prairie look. I had an outfit almost EXACTLY like the one on the left except mine was all in white. That's right. ALL WHITE.
I look at that Good Old Nashville Music clip and I know that I should be amused by Dolly's look because a fuchsia bell bottom jumpsuit with split bell sleeves and purple eyeshadow up to the eyebrows is inherently amusing. But all I am left with is a wistful pang that I should look so wonderful in such an ensemble.
I used to hoard their tees like a dragon with gold. The colors were amazing, perfect fit and they were nice and long and didn’t ride up!!! Loved them! But over the last five years or so they started getting shorter. And the bagginess!! So annoying!!!
Last year I got a purse at the KS outlet (again! I may have a problem) a hot pink fuscia number on sale for $75. Whenever I carry it the color instantly lifts my mood and many people comment on it. Very eye catching.
The KS purses can be pricey but honestly, they are so well made and classically shaped that you can carry them for years. I have some that are eight and nine years old and they still look great. The inexpensive purses I’ve bought? They maybe last a year before they look all hoopty.
Last week I was at a Kate Spade outlet and got an ADORABLE black bag on sale for TWENTY SEVEN DOLLARS.
I agree completely - Philly has never posed a problem for me. Easy to navigate, lines go quick, decent shops/restaurants if you need to waste some time.
