Yeah, I was surprised how many people managed to stay unspoiled. I had a friend tell me a few months ago and then I saw it on my Facebook feed a few days later.

It leaked a coupl of months ago. It just became real obvious Cudlitz and Yeun were nowhere near Georgia after the first episode. I want to say someone told me in August, maybe?

Oddly enough, TWD is one of the few places Democrats and Republicans can agree these days, apparently. When asked to rank their Top 10 shows, Republicans and Democrats in a poll both put The Walking Dead on it (#2 for Republicans, #6 for Democrats). Also making both lists? The Big Bang Theory, Supernatural (?????).

Pretty good, but The Following literally drove poor Sonia Saraiya mad.

Weirdly, while I have so much contempt for the producers, writers, and showrunner of TWD, I actually kind of like Hardwick? He's so damn earnest that he comes across as genuine. I enjoy watching people genuinely enjoy something and engage with it, plus he's done some other cool stuff outside The Talking Dead. I guess

I feel like Shane would Not Be Welcome in their Heaven Farm, given the whole He Killed Our Friend Otis thing. I'm sure Lori and Tyreese are there and were warmly welcomed. I feel like with "T-Dawg", they'd be all "Welcome, welcome, pull up a seat!" and then whisper in the other room, "Do we know this guy? We must,

Okay, I'm willing to try that.

I mean, my Nana is 89 and thinks Sean Hannity is this generation's Edward Murrow, so like - you know, crazy old ladies have trouble distinguishing reality from fiction. They're mostly harmless and just totally lack filters. Unless they have a cane to thwack you with. Those canes can hurt.

You know what? Out of everything about this show that frustrated the hell out of me, the absolute waste of really actually incredibly talented actors and actresses is the worst of all its crimes.

There's probably a lot of singing, and campfires, and perusing the Bible, and baking bread, and looking solemnly at pocket watches. Sounds kind of nice, actually. At least compared to what's happening on the earth.

If it's Gimple and Kirkman, their faces seem to be perma-frozen in smirk.

I think the ratings could easily sustain through 10 to 12 seasons, because even a 60% drop in the demo would make it still the highest rated show on AMC, I believe. Probably the question becomes ratings versus salaries. You can kill off everyone, technically, but it would have to veer wildly from the comics if you

I love iZombie, but I think that Rob Thomas shows lend themselves well to set episode orders that are somewhere between 13 to 16 episodes. I think when he has to stretch out a season to the full 22, or unexpectedly gets an order bumping up the episodes, a few plot points often go off the rails a bit. Not enough to

Yes! Exactly like Mad Men, I think. I will never, ever argue Mad Men wasn't a great show. But it was definitely not a show that grabbed me, for whatever reason. I made it about four episodes in and gave up. But I understand why other people found it compelling.

Yeah, the Good Wife for me too. Just bailed on the last season.

Daryl will die when AMC refuses to give Reedus money to make shows about him traveling around the country on his motorcycle during the hiatus and he quits TWD in a fit of pique, and not a second before then.

The Good Place! Hawaii 5-0.

Halt and Catch Fire is one of those shows where someone can say to me, "I find it tedious and boring," and I'll nod and agree that's a valid take on it, and someone else can say, "I find it nuanced and fascinating," and I'd find that a valid take as well. I fall into the latter category, but can totally understand why

People will vary wildly in their responses, but for me, this show feinted toward "good" a few times over the first four seasons, and then usually retreated back toward stupid entertainment, and then in seasons 5 just became mostly bad and not particularly entertaining.

I stopped watching at the beginning of last season. It was hard as hell, for whatever reason. I didn't WANT to keep watching. The show made me annoyed and irritable and angry. But there was some insane pavlovivian thing that happened with me and the channel changer every Sunday at 9. The only thing I've ever found it
