I believe it is still the highest rated show on television (non-sports), but I don't know if it's the most watched. Advertisers don't really care about viewership, they really care about ratings, so that's usually what I pay attention to.

I'll say this. Given that the ratings are down year to year for the first time ever, it would be a gutsy call by the show and the network, unless they were somehow forced into it by contract issues.

Yes. But it was still better than Scream Queens.

I demand someone free Bex Taylor-Klaus.

I feel like you make a good argument about Bellamy, even if I don't entirely agree, except that the *one* thing that has always been consistent about Bellamy is his loyalty and protection of Octavia. Always, always, always. And now he's aligned with a man who clearly would have no issue whatsoever in taking Octavia

I feel betrayed by Monty, Monroe and Miller's Boyfriend Bryan. Bellamy's arc is a disaster, but Monty wandering into a village to massacre its people is just… ??? I know Monty can kill when it's necessary, but that's… something. Although, at least with him, unlike with Bellamy, I can sort of rationalize that he lost

TWD writers struggle with the concept of emotional payoffs. I don't know why - they are actually an EASY thing to write that gives you basically a "free emotion" card, but they tend to waste the opportunities they write themselves over and over. Who knows why? *shrug*

I have been very curious how they would redeem Bellamy, if they could at all. This may be the only way to do it, if they want to do it.

I was thrilled to see that Miller was on the side of the light. I'm really curious to see how that will play with the fact that Miller's Boyfriend (Jayson? I think it's Jayson.) is one of Pike's people.

I thought the scene between Bellamy and Clarke rang true and was good stuff - good acting, good dialogue, good and real emotions for the characters. It's just the link between that and Bellamy going full-on crazy is missing for me. Yeah, Clarke left him with a lot of shit to sort out. Yeah, she ignored his own likely

I know. It's frustrating in a show that I love and have so much trust for. Even during the Finn debacle last year, I was like, "This show has earned my trust, this show has earned my trust" and I was glad I gave it to them, but the problem with this Bellamy thing is - how on earth do you walk it back? How do you fix

For some reason, I always bought Finn snapping as in character for him. In part, perhaps, because it wasn't about revenge - at tleast not entirely - at the time of the massacre, he thought the people in the village could tell him where Clarke was, IIRC - but regardless, it seemed - plausible. But this Bellamy thing is

I don't have as much of an issue with Pike as the reviewer - we've had the exposition about what happened to the Farm Station in the first few months on the ground and I can see how he would think that all grounders should be eliminated. So, Pike's okay as a character - I mean, AWFUL as a person, but okay as a

I feel like this maybe also happened on The Vampire Diaries once? Maybe not, though. But maybe, yes?

I think what happened there, is that it worked fairly well *once*. Season 4B was generally fairly well liked by the fans and critics - some episodes more than others, but it felt like a fresh start and you got to mix up dynamics. So it wasn't all Carol and Daryl, or Daryl and Rick, or Glenn and Maggie, it was

But… but…. the magic get out of death free music box! Never. Forget. Greatest. Symbolism. Ever.

I never did figure out what the Bethscue was supposed to be about. A metaphor, or something? I *liked* Beth, and still by the end of that half season, I was like, "Couldn't the zombies have just killed her at that house or something???" That felt like the ultimate stall between Terminus and Alexandria. Plus, there was

Every season has one. Scissorgate was kind of the end of my taking Gimple's run seriously, tbh. By the time we got to Glenngate, I was pretty much like, "Yeeah… seems about right." Those scissors weren't even sharp, man.

You mean if Gimple Jossed for a moment.

I think - I'm not sure, but it's my strong suspicion - that the CW agrees with me that it's shows are pretty untethered from one another. Being after The Flash may get you a few more looks than after CEG, but many of their shows seem to do what they do entirely independent of their lead in. The 100 was a perfect
