There is almost nothing about fandom, slashers, and shippers on Tumblr that isn't downright scarring.

It continues to bother me that it really feels like Alicia honestly doesn't care what happens to Cary. I hope that's addressed at some point onscreen, because I need to feel like the show recognizes that in her. I have hope that this is all leading somewhere, because it's this show, but man.

It's the only thing that makes any sense narratively given where we are in the first half of the season. The have to have a climax for the MSF and the hospital is the only thing that is likely to provide that and it's a storyline that needs to be wrapped up. Plus, Daryl isn't going anywhere until he finds Beth and

I think there are probably some shippers 'round these parts, but the conversation doesn't devolve entirely into whom Daryl should be shtupping, which is wonderful. Also, the fandom on this show that is all about shipping has apparently decided to become contenders for "Craziest Fans" and has spread to every single

KORAL.

I think the breakout groups was mostly strategy, but I also have to wonder if there were some contract negotiations going on too. Lincoln, for all that I at times gently rib him about his accent, has been carrying the show for so long, and AMC knows they need him, so I wonder if part of the decision that went into

I give this show one pass on these kinds of things per season. Last season, it was the tunnel collapse. This season, it's the van. Since the show used its pass early this year, it better be very careful with the rest of the season.

Aw. Reminds me of the good old days of the unlimited ammunition reload cheats.

There's just too many characters to really do all of them justice, so some of them end up with the short end of the stick, particularly, I think, if they are short term characters or if they know they won't kill them off for a while. Sasha's total lack of focus makes me think she'll actually stick around for a while

I wouldn't say, like, amazing? Competent. This show has become competent, and occasionally good.

I just want to say that I think it's adorable that Yvette Nicole Brown takes notes on the show when she's on The Talking Dead, but I think almost everything she does is adorable, so. Also, I was pretty amused by Carol's implicit, "Wait. When did Beth become a thing?" throughout the whole episode, since literally all

Yes. And my issue is this:

Sigh. What would be so cool is that Felicity has finally started occasionally calling Oliver on his personal relationships bullshit, and Diggle could be there to call Oliver on his Arrow-related bullshit, and maybe Thea could harangue him into getting an actual job, and then life would be perfect!

IT CAN STILL HAPPEN. Lazarus Pits, Fake Death, Float off Into the Sunset, FTW!

Never have I been so happy to be spoiled.

Agreed. Also, I have a very important question. What is with that stupid gold colored thin little ring that she wears at the tip of her ring finger? It's a really weird f-ing place for a ring, it's a really ugly ring, it makes her fingers look weird, and she's been wearing it since season one with no explanation. I

Yeah, but like - that didn't even make sense? Because Felicity has literally never mentioned before, "Hey. There's something super weird about the angles on these arrows." It was so out of nowhere that I'm like, "Well, okay. Is that actually important? Are we going to go looking now not for a normal archer, but for

The DA must still be out of town, making her de facto interim DA. JOY. THE JUSTICE THAT WILL HAPPEN. Doesn't it just fill you with wonder and inspiration and hope that Laurel Lance has prosecutorial discretion?

It's because this whole first part of the season is literally an exercise in Rehabilitate Laurel - not from pills and booze, but from sucking as a character. I ascribe at least 30% of the show's current problems to this being the current first priority of the writers.
