I love that too. It's so frustrating, in the best way. The cognitive dissonance is amazing.

Because Matthew Goode, probably. Or maybe that's just me.

Not having to make myself watch Homeland last night was so freeing. I gave three seasons to that show and finally called it quits. That said, I still have six shows on Sundays and I'm adding The Affair. Sundays are totally out of control.

I watch this show and I love it and I'm mesmerized. I come here and read the reviews and I love it even more in retrospect. Great review, is what I'm saying.

And then drive a stake in it, just to be sure.

I have also cut ties with Scandal and its incredibly freeing. Both it and Homeland are on my chopping list this season. But I still like coming to the AV Club to read the reviews and comments. But I never read about Scandal anywhere else. Never. Because it's terrifying.

Yeah, it was related. Something, something vampire hunter turned vampire with magic so can kill original vampires effectively but tied to a mortal life so the vampire hunter of vampires can't be immortal like the vampires who are not vampire hunters of vampires, something.

Also, and I really hate to bring this up, but there was that Twilight thing where Kristen Stewart kept throwing herself off of cliffs and stuff to hallucinate Edward. Now I feel yucky.

This show needs a musical episode so badly.

I kind of just want to watch them eat pancakes in Purgatory for a few episodes while various 90s hits play in the background. It seems relaxing. Kind of like watching that weird log fire video some people play at Christmas time.

Ah. The most recent time TVD made me sob.

Yay! You're reviewing The Affair! This pleases me greatly.

You were obviously distracted by how much you're going to miss this.

Don't forget Matt. They fake killed Matt at least once or twice. But he can't actually die, because Matt Donovan Is The Actual Best. Your point is well taken though.

This is true, although I do understand that with a show that burned through so much plot so quickly, they may have felt they needed to undo some of the deaths or "raise the stakes" in later seasons without actually killing main characters. And the situation with Matt was obviously driven by his terrible pilot being

I wouldn't just watch that show. I would watch that show LIVE.

Ooo. My inner network executive likes how you think! And could the nerdy neighbor perhaps have a crush on the eldest daughter?

He'll always be Danny Concannon to me.

Probably Katherine Heigl.

CBS did the most awesomely insane things to its Monday/Thursday schedule earlier this week. TBBT will have a new ep/rerun every Monday until October, Mom is now going to be on Thursdays at 8:30 after TBBT moves back there at 8 p.m. in late October, The Millers will move to 8:30 on Mondays on October 20th, after 2
