This is just depressing.

Being able to pause time. While I would use it primarily to get an extra couple of hours sleep in the morning, other, more evil people than I could use it to kill people without them being able to stop you, or various other bad things like that.

Yeah... Fuck it.

You have no idea how long I’ve waited for a Horrible Histories reference on this site. Used to be my favourite show of all time. Still genius.

In an interview with Wales Online, Steven Moffat confirms that he will stay on as showrunner for at least another year (presumably referring to the show’s tenth season, rather than the currently-filming season nine).

Jonathan Strange And Mr Norrell. Hoping to stay ahead of the TV series. Thoroughly enjoyable!

It was good, but obviously nowhere near as good as the book, which I’m about halfway through and hoping to stay ahead of the series on. But yeah, highly enjoyable despite Vinculus being almost entirely incomprehensible and it being written by Peter Harness who did the appalling Kill The Moon on Doctor Who last year.

It’s a chapter, not a page, but I always reread Dance Macabre from The Graveyard Book by Neil Gaiman. Partly because it’s so beautiful and amazing, and partly because it’s like a short story.

When are DC going to learn that colour = good?

Because it wouldn’t be a film if it didn’t have Benedict Cumberbatch in!

I do hope we get a 3.5 hour version, because while the released one was pretty good, it was definitely rushed.

My first though when I saw this was (obviously) bring Firefly back. But it wouldn’t be the same. So now I’m thinking just get rid of Steven Moffat on Doctor Who. I’d like RTD back but he doesn’t want to do it and again it wouldn’t be the same, so yeah. Just get rid of Moffat.

Oh God. Well everyone’s getting 20 so I guess it must be that, but I thought it was just 4 times the circumference? As in, 16? Then again I don’t even have a GCSE in maths (yet) so...

That great big nothingness void at the bottom was entirely accidental by the way.

And the entire thing is a boxset on 4OD for free for those in the UK.

I should hope so, because it's stupid.

Anytime a post comes up on io9 about books, I always mention The Graveyard Book, because it is beautiful. Neil Gaiman, of course.

Wait, Jake Gyllenhaal can sing?!

Damn David. Looking good.

Hey, surprisingly not bad!
