Who’s a good giant mutant dog? Who’s a good giant mutant dog?

I agree re: the bi-erasure.

I spent 29 years of my life with internal thought bubbles of “being attracted to women.” I told myself I had crushes on women. I dated women. Slept with a few. Spoiler alert: I WAS GAY THE WHOLE TIME.

Everyone from David Bowie to astrobiologists to tinfoil hat believers has pondered the question: is there life on Mars?

I fear that, by 2020, the Mars Rover will be fully tasked with searching for Jesus’ footprints on Mars and/or proving the planet is flat.

“All you need is Kill” obviously. Great movie at least in part let down by a soggy bread loaf of a title.

This was a good piece, Beth. Very enjoyable read.

This book was one of the worst things I’ve read in awhile. Hopefully the movie can strip out all the awfulness and make it bearable.

Now playing

Watching those Midnight Special clips reminded me of what a golden age of studio virtuoso’s came out of that time in So Cal.

Have you ever seen a squonk’s tears, well look at mine.

Your everlasting summer you can see it fading fast/So you grab a piece of something that you think is gonna last/But you wouldn’t know a diamond if you held it in your hand/The things you think are precious I can’t understand

That situation is exactly the same! Here’s your totally not false equivalency trophy.

I know you posted this to be like, SEEE THE NEGROS ARE STEALING!!!!!111!!!

I’m just confused in an article about representation for a mixed race Japanese character, Isha just rattles off a list of mostly Korean dudes.

The twist is that they really weren’t scientists and had never taken a prob/stats course at all!

Ugh, I was going to blame the media for the usual oversimplifying of a single study, but I downloaded the original and the authors pretty much do the same thing within their own writing, which I am, to put it mildly, the opposite of a fan of. You’re scientists. You know that your single study does not prove forever

Yup. Before I read the article I thought, “Shut up, James Cameron.” I then read the article and thought, “Shut up, James Cameron.”

Gettin’ real tired of old white men telling me what is and isn’t feminist, in general.

I just rewatched The Good Place, and Janet’s definitely the best part for me. The scene on the beach where she’s begging for her life is amazing.
