Are there any other jobs in the country that would require the amount of dedication you expect from police? Would you let someone literally try to kill you in order to determine if they have a real gun or not? What do you want the officers to do? Stand around waiting until one of them gets shot before they do anything?
If the cops’ story turns out to be true, he wasn’t just playing, he ran from the police and pulled a replica gun that looks just like a real gun from his waist, so yeah, what was the policeman supposed to do, wait for the kid to shoot him so he could be sure if those were real bullets or not?
Like we don’t need tons of guns anyway, but why the hell are they making BB guns that look like real guns in the first place?
