A C4, yes, but in 1985 I loved this picture. Almost bought a used 1985 Vette until dad said “no way”; bought a new IROC instead. Turns out Mary Lou bought the house at the end of my street from 2003-2008. What comes around goes around, I guess.

Ok, wow, this post might be a sign. My very next tab I was about to open was to look for period reviews of the C5 Vette when it first came out. Why? Because I am going to look at flood-victim C5 on Saturday with a rebuilt title. It runs but has some issues. Looks like this one but not nearly as nice.

I hadn’t realized the C5 was from ‘97. It looks about 6-7 years ahead of it’s time. I feel this car will continue to age well.
