To the casual fan it will be very satisfying (which I think describes JJ well). For those Star Wars fans who are deep in the lore and the details and pour over every caption Pablo puts in the Visual Guides they may be conflicted about some of the plot and character choices made that don’t jive.

No matter what individual white people have had to overcome, they haven’t had to deal with the obstacles that comes with racism on top of their own problems. Nobody cares about your little story and nothing in your comment justifies your level of condescension.
just as Black people are individuals with unique & powerful stories, so are whites. What makes your story unique and powerful is your humanity, not your Blackness. If you can only see people as categories you are going to lead a frustrated, lonely life.
What you are failing to note is that while Michael is making a point about a systematic problem, mayo Pete is discussing things as though Black people are the problem.

The film was garbage. Practically unwatchable. Horrible writing, dialogue, plot logic, character setup, and world-building.
