Good for you. I didn’t know that driving from work to home in a blizzard was a race. Thanks for the info.

In snow I drive pretty slow, keep it in a higher gear to minimize torque. Although like he said 4th gear still has plenty of torque though it's not the monster that 2nd is. I also slow down a lot before any turn. It’s not the most fun driving in snow but there’s maybe 10 times per winter when I’m driving on snow.…
Numb steering in a BMW. [insert deep face.]
It’s not electronically amplified. It’s piped in the speakers because that’s are the logical place to do it.
FWIW my Chicago brother I’m in a 135i. Snow tires are doing fine now. Michelin super sports handle the wet roads the other nine months of the year. Maybe snow tires are better now?
1M looks badass. +1
When will they stop the cheesy blue equals electric trope?
You are correct. Those are deposits. That’s pretty indicative of demand.
They took deposits for something like 27,000 model X’s before starting production.
The 135is is fine and agree it doesn’t deserve much if any premium.
We have similar tastes. I just got an S2000. The power of the 135 is hard to use on public roads without getting stupid.
A $500 tune can take care of the power difference but I’m guessing on back roads he wasn’t using all of the power anyway. The issue is its a lot of other bits including a whole suspension upgrade and LSD. The guys at 1addicts.com/forums/ can help you figure out what the best upgrades are.
I’m a 135i owner so I have an eye out for 1Ms—and I’ve seen two. I live in an upscale area despite not being so upscale myself.
Hofmeister has one F. The kink is perfect.
This is going to sound like a weird request. I'd love to see a review about what this car is like to drive. On paper it's basically a 335i with a tune.
Fast heavy car with turbo. It's not like you can't buy that experience in a contemporary car.
Because they've gone up, they are going to go up more. Welcome to the Tulip Mania school of investing.
The back reminds me just a bit of the mid-2000s wrx wagons.
I know a guy who dailies his FF in the winter. Has a 458, mclaren too. Wife drives a AMG G wagon.
The FF is like $300k. Will never move enough volume to dent the Germans.
