This is a hyper literal answer to “cool now, but not popular then”. Lamboughini Countach. It’s important not to confuse car poster sales to adolescent boys with actual sales of cars. The Countach had a 16 year production run but of those some 600 were made in the final year for an Anniversary edition. In other words,

It popular and sold well for a roadster from the beginning.

It was thought of of as very cool back in the day. My dad exchanged his 928 for a Delorean with a friend for a few days. It was a big deal in our house.

Overall you’re right but I’ll disagree with you on the seat rails bit. I’m not sure about “wild” or not but that’s the one place where he gives solid information and explains lower center of gravity etc.

Is the reviewer’s incompetent driving meant to be a defense of the review?

You don’t have any information on trim packages so you can’t make any recommendations in “buyer’s guide”?!?

As in awesome. I love the C3 especially without the chrome fenders. The long hood, the fenders. Just a beauty.

For Corvette design, ‘76 may be the peak.

That is amazing. Between the rallye light, hood scoop, front mounted side mirrors and those gold wheels...so much to love. Cromodoras?

I loved that article. One of favorites of the year. I started looking for roadsters immediately.

I’d love to see you write about it.

Canada is on this side of the pond. I do have the wants for one.

False. My uncle called my dad’s 928 the Millenium Falcon.

He's an embarrassment. They don't want to bring him up.

What is that green beauty?

Single color interiors that aren’t black. Here’s two of my faves. What you got?

This is a tough one. In theory, I think that’s generally right. Its awful when I see an awesome 70s era interior taken out in favor of all black in some six figure restomod. But the bumpers I don’t know if I can’t get behind those looking good ever. Pretty much any car looks better without those.

Backup camera because its good not to hit a dog or toddler backing out of the driveway. And its easier to parallel park.
