There’s an article on WaPo right now that’s seriously suggesting that young people “volunteer” to provide elder care (outside their own families) when people don’t even want actual paid caregiving work because it’s so shitty, which I feel is the written embodiment of the “ok boomer” concept.

Splinter was a damn good website.

I just can’t get over the fact that the generation that has spent the last however many years bitching incessantly and generalizing about millennials is now so incredibly butthurt over “Ok Boomer”.  I mean, c’mon. 

I actually wouldn’t have questioned Whitney being called iconic or even greatest of all time. But it’s strange to say no one will ever be as powerful as someone who went through so much struggle and had such loss of control over her life.
