I never watch Leto’s performance. I also didn’t pay attention to his promotion and the like of the film. However, after I saw his acceptance speech at the GG’s, I was like, “fuck this dude.” Like who cares that you got waxes? And now, I really don’t want to watch it.

Tex was in a relationship with a cis-woman so I’m sure this film won’t screw that part up at all. Nope.

Are you... serious? At one point you claim that trans women need to get under the giant tent of “woman” and then later admit that different groups have a different set of personal issues.

I think Joss waved off criticism because he clams that she views herself a monster because she is an assassin. However, it was not written that way and focus was heavy on the fact that she was sterilized by force.

I mean, yeah, it’s easy to fall for someone who looks like Mark Ruffalo because Mark, but I remember watching Age of Ultron and wondering if I missed a movie because where did this come from? And I’m still confused every time I see that movie.

Right. Like actors are made not born (well, most). Put trans actors in movie roles and then look at that: you have a movie star who is actually trans.

And the fact that her response threw Tambor and Leto into the mix as though she thought that was an ace in the hole shows that she’s not even fit to tell anyone stories that doesn’t involved a fictional woman who is forced by Joss Whedon’s writing to fall in love with the Hulk.

Exactly. First, I think the era of celeb driven movie is on it’s last leg. Like, fuck you and your clout. If this movie looks like garbage, I’m not gonna waste my money and time to see it.

I’m not mad at you. But as you can see in these comments, people find ways to gloss over this because Hollywood and greed and that’s to be expected and completely ignoring that her greed is coming at the expense of people who have been silenced because she insists on inserting herself in other people’s narratives.

And anyone who tries to pull the “movies are expensive; they need a big name” bs is just an enabler of bad people and Hollywood would still be prevelant with black and yellow face if this bs idea was actually valid and made sense.

Ru is very hard on black queens. Which would be fine- I guess- if that was all. But Ru is horrible to black queens AND determined to make queens like Kameron and Eureka a thing. Always bringing out the double save for Eureka and Kameron.

I mean, but no one is attacking Hogan for having cancer. But it’s clear that he believe that his cancer care is more important than the public’s. Honestly, what he did as a cancer survivor was disgusting and people should be outraged.

Jealous needs to stop hyping smoking weed with David and talk about getting a working weed economy in place that will get rid of licensing system that allowed only 15 people licenses and 13 where white guys.
