I'm sorry, but as paying customers, we have a right to be as bitchy about a product as we deem fit.

This exactly. It wasn't that she wasn't a strong character or that later writing really ruined her place in Castlevania canon. Konami basically f'd her story and play in the lore when they had her preggo with a vamp, in stark contrast to the story established by the NES games, which is obviously the story they pursued

You're very lucky. Especially in the first two months, red screen lock-ups were an ever present issue for most AMD cards. The game would crash every time one map would finish and another would load.

No, it's really not. I play pretty regularly on PC, and there are still severe problems with the game, including continued crashes and broken maps. Just about every time they patch one thing, another gets fucked.

It's still royally fucked. And to be quite honest, I think that there is some merit to enforcing some standards in release quality.

Thinking more about this, I'm extremely worried for the day where I no longer own my games and have to pay out the ass for a cable-like service that supplies our games. That day is seemingly fast approaching.

They'd rather you pay $20 a month for streaming than actually own any of those titles.

Though it'd be nice to play some of my old PS2 games, since I don't have a functional PS2 anymore nor the space to set one up, I don't really like where this is heading.

Ha, whoops. Didn't even notice that until now.

They way they post the article, like a lot of other lick bate, with a misleading titles and short of many of the facts, makes it a problem.

Until further review, I believe that you've hit the nail on the head... with a 20 pound sledge hammer.

He didn't have the visa. He was traveling under a waiver program, likely due to not providing sufficient time for visa processing. Waiver travelers get rejected quite often, for any number of reasons.
