It is when he’s breaking laws all the time and being a shithead. A President doesn’t deserve respect just because he’s the President. A President deserves respect when he upholds the values of the office.

What I find hilarious about this is that Conservatives used to always talk about how the free market was the solution to everything. But when people actually use the free market system to punish companies with bad views, suddenly they all get up in arms that liberals are actually doing what they said to do.

But wouldn’t this disqualify Jesus as well, since it’s almost certain the depictions of him we know now look nothing like he actually looked. 

I feel like that whole “No depictions of him ever or woe unto you” thing probably hurts Muhammad in the fame department vs. Jesus who, say what you will, knew how to brand.

I don’t know. In order to be famous somebody would have to be able to recognize your face, right? Well, just try to get somebody to accurately depict the prophet Muhammad. All of a sudden everybody’s memory gets real foggy.
