The most liberal of democrats have not dismissed those ideas. Maybe some of the most liberal of democratic politicians have, but those ideas are supported by the majority of Americans and the vast majority of democrats, progressive and centrist.

Well in the NJ article they say that the coaches argued with the ref for a few min, the ref started the injury clock and then the boy took off his hair cover and agreed to have it cut. Where did you see reporting that said they offered to forfeit?

Have you wrestled? Because everyone who has, has had the response that either they or someone they knew had long hair and was allowed to cover it. I’m gonna guess that the writers at deadspin know someone who wrestled with long hair, in which case the only difference here is that this kid has dreadlocks, a hairstyle…

I’m really surprised that no one stepped in to complain. It really is like people just care less about black kids because I’ve seen parents mad about much smaller stuff when white kids are playing.
