Well the government in a democratic republic is all of us and if your guns might be used to kill us then it is all of our business.
The issue is the guns though because if you’re an irresponsible parent but you don’t have guns then maybe your child ends up getting in fights at school, not shooting it up.

Ugh, I let my point trail off. We may be looking specifically at these mass shootings that catch national attention but there are mass shootings, and homicides of less than 4 people, that began as domestic incidents on a regular basis in this country.

Well I do personally make a point of shopping at small hardware stores whenever possible. I’m no contractor, but I prefer good customer service when I’m buying tools and gardening supplies and getting keys copied etc.

I don’t understand why we’re not doing more to require that people lock up their guns. We could have a system where to buy a gun you have to prove you have to appropriate space and equipment to lock it up and then have serious fines for not doing so. People would still be able to have as many ridiculous guns as now…
