I just posted this, but I am buried in the greys; so you may not get to read this. I saw a T-shirt like this. Copy and paste of my other reply:
The early Renaults like the 1900 model you show used a thermosiphonic cooling system; there’s no water pump. Instead, the temperature difference between the hot water in the block and the cold water in the exposed radiator creates enough circulation by convection to transfer the heat.
The first thing to remember is that a grand jury isn’t empowered to do anything but investigate, and declare charges. That is, the government can’t just decide to charge someone with a felony - they must first convince a group of jurors convened solely for that purpose (aka the “grand jury”) that there’s enough…
Consumers have full faith that automakers will sell them a safe and reliable product
The difference is that she is getting paid to be inconvenienced while everyone else paid for the pleasure.
If you don’t want to deal with annoyed customers, don’t take a job where your primary duty is dealing with customers in an industry where they are often annoyed.
The difference being she’s getting paid while the passengers are paying for the experience of not getting to their destination on time.
Yeah because if it’s suicide it’s fine, right? No problem here at all.
strictly speaking—there is no such thing as non-tomato ketchups in the US
Many, many firearms are designed specifically for target and competition shooting and hunting things that aren’t people. I appreciate your attempt at a rebuttal but it’s frankly not possible when you’re so woefully uninformed about the subject. When your argument is “all gunz are designed to kill hoomons” you’re…
I think a prohibition tactic will always fail, and something I would like to avoid as a socialist is a system where the rich can have guns by virtue of having the time and money to jump through the hurdles while the poor are effectively disarmed. Im uncomfortable with our armed militarized police and I believe any…
Again, a lot of things are dangerous, though legal.
I don’t think motorcycles, speed boats, ATV’s, marijuana, video games and a whole lotta other stuff is “fun”. That has no influence on their legality.
I’m not an enthusiast, just a firearm owner. They are like my bike and nintendo switch. Fun possessions that get used when I want to and then properly secured when they are not. 99% of the time they are locked up. My family barely knows they exist. They are not who I am so attempting to shame me merely by owning them…
The jury was given evidence as to whether or not Monsanto was a contributing factor in their cancer. They decided who gave the most compelling evidence.
I think the jurors might have said this is Trumps EPA, and doubted the conclusion. After all, they have retroactively “corrected” similar statements on how hazardous some materials are.
That Monsanto’s own lawyers said “it’s safe enough to drink” puts the juror’s comment much more in perspective. Without this added piece of info, it seemed the juror’s suggestion was kinda out of the blue. Thanks.
The vast majority of Americans do not need a firearm, and yet they own them anyway, and continue to use them to kill.
