Yeah, maybe don’t buy lsd from a stranger on the street. Who knows what it actually was.

Agreed. I’ve taken loads of LSD & this kind of violence isn’t in line with any experience I’ve had. These days, with all the synthetic analogues out there, you can’t trust what you’re getting. Some of these synthetic drugs are so terrible.

I really hate that people/authorities are so quick to blame drugs “Reefer Madness” style. Alcohol is more likely to cause violent behavior than most drugs. Likelihood of using hands to make snow angels or a turkey drawing is about 10000000000000000X more likely on LSD than using hands to kill someone.

Yeah, underlying issues for sure. I have taken mushrooms and LSD several times and never had anything like this happen, but an ex-friend of mine would always get paranoid and violent on the exact same acid, the exact same mushrooms. Spending more time with him, I came to learn that he got paranoid and violent on any

Relax. Acid doesn’t turn you into a raging homicidal maniac. Something else was going on here.

I’ve taken enough LSD to make an elephant fly, and I’ve never experienced or even heard of the drug causing violence.

I suspect there’s a little something more to this than “the LSD made me do it.”

See, this is why I don’t do drugs and instead get my kicks from wholesome activities like hardcore BDSM and base jumping.

Ooops, sorry:

Just FYI: You don’t get interviewed by any investigators during the exam (at least in any of the states/hospitals I’ve worked in). The forensic nurse will take your statment, write it down word for word, and hand the kit off to uniformed officers (typically with ZERO sensitivity training), but there isn’t usually a

...Or for people that can’t handle killing a/their rapist, at least take away their weapons and disable them: gauge their eyes out (hard to pick victims when their blind!!!), remove their primary weapons (hands and penis), smash their feet and hands so that they never can grab or run again, take away some of their

From my experience, I would say 4 hours is a very LOW estimate. As a hospital response advocate, I personally was often at the hospital for 6-10 hours, and that doesn’t include all the time the victim spent waiting before the forensic nurse and I arrived (separately).

The idea that women would, in droves, go do this merely because they didn’t want to admit to having sex (IRONICALLY BECAUSE OF CONSERVATIVE SLUT-SHAMING OH THE TANGLED WEBS WE WEAVE) is infuckingsane

It’s not about not doing any work to investigate and prosecute, it’s about what evidence is useful. Law enforcement aren’t going to test a kit if the perp says it’s consensual UNLESS there is another way to prove it wasn’t along with the kit. Unfortunately they usually have to use other tactics at that point. So,

I know it varies from jurisdiction to jurisdiction but all of the law enforcement that I work with picks and chooses which ones get tested. As far as I know that’s how it is all over my state. Now they won’t test Jane Doe kits until a report is made. So if someone chooses an anonymous kit, then law enforcement doesn’t

Republicans would say she had every chance to buy her own gun and because she didn’t it’s her fault he killed her. What was she thinking, telling a guy she didn’t want to date and forgetting to arm herself?

Yeah this is a three-part disaster: socially conditioned male entitlement, no real system for adequately treating our mentally ill citizens, and far too lax gun laws.

Will this never cease to be the truth??
