I'll be honest, that sounds pretty unappetizing to me. But I think it has the bones for a pretty awesome dessert.
They're completely different textures, though. Vegetable crunch is more crisp, while nuts tend to feel more like a dull thud to me.
I would never get pre-made chicken salad, but I like it when I make it myself. I like to make my own mayo or aioli. And I try to use as little of it as possible. I find most chicken salads to be more mayo than chicken—twisted and evil.
Agreed, especially for chicken and eggs. I add a little tarragon to my soft scrambled eggs, and it's always great.
