Yeah I’ve been pleasantly surprised by how much fun I’ve had with the indies on GamePass. Especially ones like Void Bastards. And I highly recommend Neon Abyss. It’s so much fun to find an OP build and just crush everything.

I think you can have post-apocalyptic and not lonely all in one package. Fallout has done this well enough, where obviously you’re in some kind of wasteland but people are trying to make a go of it anyway—sometimes in hopeful-ish ways but very often in darker, dire ways that help sell just how rough things are.

Subnautica is amazing. I’ve been playing that and SMT 3. But now I think I’m going to play some Outer Worlds when I get home. The board isn’t going to overthrow itself.

I would pay good money for a TES2 remake. They would need a legion of mapmakers to build all of that if they don’t go procedural generated.

This was my thought. I can’t picture it as tasting like anything else, even though I’m sure it’s completely different.

I was very tickled by the Outer Worlds 2 reveal trailer. Fantastic satire that fits the themes of the first game perfectly.
