This is the first time a fund (Citron) has bragged about how much they shorted a stock and then called Reddit stupid. lol.

Occam’s razor: the simplest explanation is usually the right one. High levels of media attention, even being mentioned at a White House press conference, attracted renewed scrutiny of the server. That scrutiny revealed ongoing terms violations, which resulted in the ban. No tinfoil conspiracy theories needed.

Your looking for a conspiracy to exist when theres a stupidly simple explanation we’ve seen play out countless times before.

That is also a very good take, and certainly cuts the other way on this. As a man playing female characters, I think its healthy when a game tells me I can’t just force every attractive female character to become bisexual just because I want them to be, but I’m aware that that limitation probably feels a lot different…

I played as FemShep, and was definitely interested in Jack... but I also think its okay for not every romanceable character in every game to be available to every player configuration. When an NPC draws boundaries, telling the player that it isn’t that they aren’t interested in romance but rather that they aren’t…

I would not call all those extras “balanced”.

You’d be surprised how low the bar is at some grad programs.

My favorite is still from Game Dev Tycoon, where as you progress in the game, it eventually becomes impossible to make a profit because....everyone keeps pirating your games.

And a search for “Buy PlayStation” brings up a page titled “Buy PlayStation 4” as the first non-ad result. In fact, if you click the Microsoft link shown in your result you’ll find it takes you to a website that sells you the Xbox Series X and S, and google just had not updated its cached version of the page title…

I think that was more an issue of poor search performance. I remember website searches for “Xbox Series X” were returning Xbox One X as the top result. I damn near made the same mistake and I promise you I am not confused by the name. I’d have done the same if I was trying to buy a PS5 and the search box boosted PS4…

And unfortunately, returns are completely impossible because... (they’re not).

Nathan: So this is the weird thing for me: Ideologically, I do not care about spoilers and think everybody should just be free to talk about games as they please. But then when it comes to particular games I intend to play, I’m always like “No, don’t tell me about it.” Like, my partner is playing Yakuza: Like A Dragon…

I wish it was better, but I don’t see anyone accidentally buying the wrong console.
