I’d like to see a modular graphics card and ram. Consoles with an upgrade path were rumored for a while, as they become more and more purpose built PCs, but nothing materialized. Devs already contend with this for PCs, which most games come out for anyway.

Those are smart guesses, agreed.

My God, I’m almost petty enough to go back through the last week of comments and mock a few idiots in particular. Almost but not quite.

I wish there were some way to organize items by effect. If I want to talk to kitties, I shouldn’t have to tooltip over all 3 bazillion spells to find my talk to kitties potion.

I agree, but this is an impractical solution for all but massive studios.

This is such a trivial concept, I’m surprised at the wall of text. Let’s go through it:

Literally unplayable without low-poly ta-tas.

Dude.

Jesus you have no sense of irony.

Heard.

Literally never.

The last CRPG I enjoyed was, well BG3 which isn’t eurojank, fortunately. As a console gamer, there’s just not a lot out there. As far as point and click, Disco Elysium is the last one I enjoyed, and it had pretty good representation. As far as explicitly gay main protagonists, rather than simple representation, I

No, but they weren’t like “what about straight people”, they were like “I haven’t played a game lately with representation of any stripe that didn’t also include LGBT+ options”, at least that was my reading. And I agree, though I’ve mostly been playing BG3 lately, which has amazing representation. If you have some

In addition to representation in major plot points and arcs, I think it is equally important to have plenty of characters that are incidentally LGBT+. The fact of diversity in gender and sexuality should be normalized in games, both as a main plot thrust, but also just people inhabiting the world. Just NPCs holding

Imagine reading their post and taking whatever that is from it?

To be fair, gay tetris sounds pretty fun.

I definitely prefer more creative solutions, while acknowledging that it serves a purpose. I do understand that devs tend to follow design language to shortcut the need to tutorialize everything, but there is more than one way to indicate something is climbable.

Happy to read about any media not connected to a comic book universe. I'm not in for Twist2r (like at all), but I enjoyed the piece.
