It’s even worse. They haven’t executed anyone since 2005 but now they’re rushing to kill everyone because of the drug situation. I mean, if you didn’t kill anyone for almost 12 years, why not hang out a while longer and see if a new drug becomes available in the next few years. What’s the rush??

At least one of the drugs was sold in violation of the manufacturer’s conditions. Pfizer makes it and prohibits their drugs being used for lethal injection. A distributor sold it mistakenly and has refunded the state and filed suit to get the state to return the drugs.

While this has been an exhausting day for all involved, tomorrow we will continue to fight back on last-minute appeals and efforts to block justice for the victims’ families.
