For the most part, I’m a social media Luddite, so my exposure to Nina is just from the show. From what I saw, she struck me as severely depressed and self-loathing, although that is probably my psych issues informing my interpretation of what was shown.

Yeah, no kidding. Apparently, there was *huge* support for Valentina at the live finale taping, which was done before the reunion was filmed.

I genuinely loved what I saw throughout the season from three of the four finalists (I still don’t quite get the Trinity love), and I think Peppermint, Shea , or Sasha could have done the show and its fans proud.

It is a disturbingly common thought. I have heard it a lot from McCarthy apologists and those who claim that slavery was beneficial to the slaves by bringing them to the US and introducing them to Christianity.

Should that matter? Shouldn’t a public servant be held to the same standards no matter who they serve?
