From someone that downgraded their Audi wheels from 19s to 18s and lives in downtown DC, I am 100% here for this trend. I’ve cracked two rims in this city. I’m over broken wheels and horrible ride quality.

Let me address the common complaints, one by one.

I’m always amazed how quick car manufactures are to throw away a brand equity for basically no reason at all, and then to stubbornly hang on to brands that are slowly becoming toxic to them.

It’s a prototype testing unit. IDK any vehicle manufacturer that makes wheel chair accessible prototypes. Seems weird to be mad that people in wheel chairs can’t get into the protoype that isn’t carrying any people other than the emergency pilot.
