the four-two was the worst of all their offerings to decide to come to the US market.  It’s not rocket science that americans would adopt a 4 door faster than a 2 seater hatch.  Only NYC is ready for that and its not a big enough market. 

I don’t want one, but I’m always a fan of a diverse and weird car market. Also seeing Tanner Faust power slide one into a parking lot on Top Gear U.S. always made me giggle.

The current Smart FourTwo was actually a great design for the concept. The problem was that the concept was dumb. Why would you get a expensive to maintain 2-seat drab economy box, when you can have a Honda Fit or similar that is almost as easy to park, seats 5, cheap to maintain, and fun to drive? It just doesn’t…

I think the challenger has always looked amazing. Just too big and poorly made.  Too accurate an interpretation of classic muscle. 

Wouldn’t the fine be paid by the company? But I agree that this is just punishing businesses for the clearly broken infrastructure of the city. It’s a lot easier for the city government to treat the symptoms of a overly congested city than figuring out how to come up with a solution.

I don’t want a Clarity. But I’m also certain they will be a awesome curiosity an interesting collector’s item in 30 years.  Probably not valuable but one in good condition will be a center of attention in the right circles.

Can we make this a thing? Top ten/worst ten I enjoy some good negative reinforcement from time to time. 

It looks like the top of the steering wheel would make the screen hard to see. But I suppose once the airbag lodges it in your skull it won’t make much of a difference.

China doesn’t allow deal citizenship. They cut up my wife’s chinese passport when she tried to go home to visit her grandparents.

I’m sure that engine is amazing, but it’s just not a good looking car. There are better ways to have an amazing sounding engine with pedigree for 30k.

I hated these so much when they were in production... But now I’m sorta starting to like them.  Like a VW Thing kind of absurdity-is-interesting emotion. Am I losing my marbles?
