You have to get higher than a 95 to be in best game of all time territory. Basically every point above 92 means a TON, and even more so 95+.

I’d argue that the standard for a 6, 7, 8, 9, or 10 (the only scores that matter) have become pretty standardized at this point. As much as they can be for reviewing a piece of media/art.

Kotaku loves to hate on numbered scores, and metacritic, but it’s still the best way to pick what game to play without reading a novel’s worth of reviews and opinions beforehand. I’m simply not willing to do this for every game i’m interested in playing.

Wanted to add to this after skimming the article some that I find the whole “dirty hoe” etc thing while talking about black women in porn pretty awful/problematic as well. Also I fully agree that weird ass racially charged situations they get put into, even if fake, are pretty disheartening. 

The income inequality part of this whole situation needs far more focus. 

More men find white women attractive than black women, mostly because they tend to be more feminine. Much like women tend to find asian men less attractive, because they are less masculine. There is a reason these are the 2 least popular race/sex combinations on dating sites. This is a fact, look it up.

Well, call me a boomer or whatever, but I personally have trouble staying interested in games for long when they don’t have mmo-like elements, or aren’t mmo’s period.

Wellllllll there seems to be some political ceasefire going on right now when it comes to the general election. In normal times we’d already be ass deep in election shit.
