It’s not faster than “just swiping a card” but it is generally a lot faster than using the new EMV chip cards (except Walgreens which, for some reason, processes those chipped cards super fast).

The Echo Dot is the smaller one without the full-sized speaker. You connect the Dot to another speaker which is why I thought this was good timing. Many of these cheap bluetooth speakers should work well with the Dot assuming they have a 3.5mm audio-in jack.
