Plus, when she says that she was the first female Black vice president, it’ll not sound like dementia.

Whichever one makes them feel best about their bigotry and hating whichever group they want to hate.

Plus, we now have 4 years worth of evidence of how dire a Trump presidency can be.  In 2016, it was just theoretical and we thought the institutions would hold against him.

With his brain injury, he can no longer pass captcha tests, so he feels the need to prove he’s a real human somehow.

It’s kind of odd that they really want to be in business both with this toxic person and the toxic star of the Flash who is on the opposite side of the gender identity issue.  They just like toxic folks over at the Dubaya-dubaya-dubaya-Bee.

That was where my mind went too.

Oh I HATED that change about Uncle Ben’s murder.  It’s like every time they reboot the series they have to murder him, but Sam did it twice and did it wrong the second time.

It was the retconning of Uncle Ben’s murder that pissed me off the most about that movie.

That was my first thought when Delores O’Riordan died at 46.  Fuck, I turn 46 next year and, while I may feel old some mornings when I wake up and try to get out of bed (and my kids may call me old), I don’t think I’m old yet.

2 Freaky 2 Friday: Electric Boogaloo.

Nah, he’d just have to play it on the other side of the road on this side of the pun because it’s an English piano.

Don’t need any alcohol, just need to be a dad to appreciate that level of pun work.

We have to normalize the idea that lots of people struggle with their mental help, and lots of people are fighting the darkness. When we feel that we’re the only one and that it’s somehow shameful, it’s so much harder to ask for help (or accept any help that’s offered). We try to hide it, and that makes it so much

Didn’t they announce it was going to be called Spaceballs II - The Search for More Money (or something like that) 37 years ago during the first movie?  I could have sworn Yogurt said that’s when they’d see each other again.  They’ve gotta stick with that now to complete the joke.

That show made a mistake by not leaning into the potential relationship between the brother and the PA.

That happens in the sequel, which is written/directed by a completely different person who didn’t watch this movie or interact with it’s creators at all.  Also, she’s going to do something something mystery box.

Yeah, for some reason I came in expecting to read about Quinto actually doing an impression of James Corden, and someone in the restaurant (probably a Corden fan, but maybe someone who just hates singing in cars) getting all upset about it.

I remember like the first season, putting up with the 2nd, and not bothering to watch anything that came after that.

Robert Rodriquez’s El Mariachi/Desperado/Once Upon a Time in Mexico would probably also work as an exemplar.
