I got the feeling the reviewer was trying to re-create the experience of watching the movie with his review. Now that I’ve experienced that, I know I don’t need to actually watch the thing.

That’s a lot more helpful to me than when a reviewer tries to review a kids’ movie or intentionally dumb comedy (or horror, or…

It’s why I almost never come to the comments any more.  It’s like I’m shouting into the void as nothing I say is every seen by anyone but me.

It’s almost as if the writer is trying to give us the experience of watching this movie without having to actually go and spend two hours watching it. For that I’m grateful, and, if that was the goal, I’d say he succeeded wildly.

Holy crap, I didn’t realize that Uncle Iroh in this is the dad for Kim’s Convenience.  Sorry for whatever I said doubting this show.  My favorite character is played by an amazing choice for an actor.  I am 100% in.

But he’s gotta be out there counterbalancing Adam Carolla and all his b.s. nonsense.
